World Storytelling Day in East Tennessee
March 20, 2010

A global celebration of storytelling

We've hired a hall and we're giving a party for storytellers from all over East Tennessee.

The room will open about 2:00 p.m. and we'll begin a story swap at 2:30.
Come and get acquainted, share your stuff and see what others have to offer.
About 4:30, we'll do some brainstorming about whether an association of regional
storytelling guilds is a useful idea and what we might do together. Bring ideas.

We'll break for supper at Ryan's or somewhere nearby where we can get
a side room to gather and continue our conversations while we eat.

At 7:30, we plan a story concert open to the community for $5.00 admission.
The list of tellers will be posted after March 1.

All these events (except supper) will be held in the

Choral Rehearsal Room of the Clayton Center for the Arts
Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee

The first building on the right when you come in the main
entrance to the college off Lamar Alexander Parkway (Highway 321).

Hosted by Clayton Center for the Arts Storyteller-in-Residence Millie Sieber
and by the Smoky Mountain Storytelling Association.
